Roosevelt Brown
Roosevelt Brown, 88, of Laurens, husband of Ruby Brown, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Born in Simpsonville, SC, he was a son of the late Jack and Annie Pearl Brown.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Brown is survived by two children, Jerry Brown and Jackie Brown; eight grandchildren, Jayson, Jennifer, Joel, Joy, Jack, Renee, Jeron, and Claudia; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two siblings, William Brown Jr. and Mary McDonald.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Brown; four sisters; and two brothers.
A Visitation will be held Monday, November 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home- Fountain Inn. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be held in the Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the FFA of Hillcrest High School:
