Robert “Bob” Ambrose, 86, of Simpsonville, widower of Elizabeth “Pat” Ambrose, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 10, 2017.

Born in Wilmington, DE, he was a son of the late Julian W. Ambrose and the late Anna McNally Ambrose. Mr. Ambrose was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church. He served our country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by one daughter, Bobbie Evans, and her husband, Brian, of Simpsonville; four grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, and Brian Hurley, and Jennifer Baxter; three great-grandchildren Maria, Lucas, and Alice Hurley; and one sister, Dail Johnson, of Norfolk, VA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Five Forks Baptist Church with Dr. Howard Foster officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to: The American Heart Association.
