Randy Gene Rector
Randy Gene Rector, 69, of Fountain Inn, husband of Elaine Rector, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. Born in Danville, VA, he was the son of the late Bob and Mamie Rector.
In addition to his wife, Randy is survived by his two daughters, Lori Rector Matthews (Cody) and Tammie Rector Overfelt (Joey); one grandson, Ryker “Hot Rod” Matthews; two brothers, Jerry Rector (Bea) and Al Rector (Shirlene); and loving mother in law, Annette Goreau.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his cousin and best friend, Rusty Crews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home Heritage Chapel- Simpsonville. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Kidney Fund

Dear Rector family, I worked with Randy at the Simpsonville post office. He helped me so much during the trying days of learning to deliver mail!! Probably would have not made it if he had not helped me!! Great person!! So sorry for your loss!!!
