Peggy Skelton Langston
Peggy Skelton Langston of Simpsonville passed away December 5, 2020 at Rainey Hospice House of Anderson. Born December 24,1938, she was the daughter of Carl Taylor Skelton and Gladys Owens Skelton.
She is survived by two daughters Cherri Langston Harvey(Brian), and Tracy Langston Willis(Mark); four grandchildren Mary-Langston Willis Don (John), Elledge Nye Willis (Lauren), Reeves Martin Willis, and Salleigh Lauren Harvey.
She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Peggy expressed a strong love for the fine arts. She was an accomplished pianist, self-taught at the age of eight. She traveled extensively inspiring her children and grandchildren to do the same.
She loved nature and its beauty and surrounded herself with the beauty of God’s creation. She found serenity in her home providing a safe haven.
Peggy was independent, self-sufficient, full of strength, courage and dignity and most of all loved unconditionally.
Her family would like to thank The Carlyle Nursing Center in Fountain Inn and The Rainy Hospice House of Anderson for the wonderful care and love shown to Peggy.
A private service will be held to celebrate her life.
