Patricia “Trish” Barbo Bolt

Patricia “Trish” Barbo Bolt, 65, wife of John W. Bolt, of Simpsonville, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024.  Born in Cleveland, OH, she was a daughter of the late Joseph T. and Evana “Ann” Grosel Barbo.

Trish had an innate curiosity, and she learned a lot through her inquisitive nature.  She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and jig saw puzzles, was a great cook and baker, and a former avid golfer.  Trish worked as a secretary at Beech Tool where she met John, and later worked as an accountant for Mr. Excavator.  She had a sweet personality and was considered by many as an all-around nice person.  Trish loved to share with everyone and had a giving spirit.  Trish treasured time with family, friends, and her cats.  Her non-biological grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she cherished the opportunity to witness two of their births.

In addition to her husband, Trish is survived by her step-children, Jason Bolt (Sara), John Bolt Jr (Michelle), Tonya Nelson; step-grandchildren, Devin Nelson, Caleb Nelson, Zayden Nelson, Bayne Nelson, Azlyn Nelson, Austin Bolt; two step-great grandchildren, Luke Nelson and Maylena Nelson; her sister, Beth Anne Sullenberger (Jerry); sister-in-law Cindy Bolt; three brothers-in-law, Julian “Bud” Bolt, Mark Lintala, and Fred Rehoe; her long-time best friend, Irene Wunderle; and her beloved cats, Scottie and Toby.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Lakeshore Assembly of God, 8880 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, OH from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow beginning at 12:00 pm.  Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037.
