Our sincere condolences to Nancy’s family. I have known her since we were very young girls. Her smile could brighten a room. We spent most of the evening together at our reunion and she showed me pictures of her family. She was so very proud of you. May the Lord comfort you in the difficult days ahead. I was so sad to hear of Nancy’s passing. So many good memories growing up. She was such a sweet sweet person. Lifting you all in prayer
Nancy was my colleague at Greenbrier and also worked with my daughter when she was struggling with reading. Nancy would always tell me, “Just keep reading with her.” Mrs. Key loved my daughter so well and worked so hard with her. Even though my daughter “graduated” out of Nancy’s class, she always asked how my daughter was doing and sent her love. My daughter reads above grade level now and that did not come without the help of Nancy and her love for students and reading. She has left a legacy of kindness, love, and reading for our family to remember.
I met Nancy when she & Skip first married and came to St Michael and joined a Sunday School Class that I attended.
She was a very sweet lady and
was always all smiles when the choir processed on Sunday mornings. God’s Peace on all of her family. She will be missed
by all of us at St Michael
My condolences to the Key family. Nancy was a friend and colleague at Greenbrier Elementary. She taught my son Asa Kelley in first grade. She was a friend when it was a hard time for Asa and I at school. She believe in him and to this day is and will always be his favorite teacher. Avis Kelley
