Marion Franklin Hendricks
Marion F. Hendricks, 97, of Simpsonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 while surrounded by her family.
Born on May 21, 1926 in Anderson SC to Mae and Loy Franklin. She graduated from Anderson Girls High. In 1948 she married A.W. Hubbard, with whom she raised two sons. After her first husband’s death in 1975 she married Ralph Hendricks in 1987. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Simpsonville. She enjoyed her Sunday School class, Joy Fellowship, Senior Saints, Joyful Hearts Choir, and Tape Ministry. She also enjoyed serving as an Anderson University Trustee. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved all of her extended family and thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent with them.
She is survived by her sons, Ted A. Hubbard (Patti), and Kenneth Hubbard (Eva); her grandchildren, Melissa Hubbard (Joe Hundley), Stephanie Hinton (Jerry), Andrew Hubbard (Jennifer), John Hubbard (Victoria), and Megan Hubbard; her great-grandchildren, Faith, Mikayla, Eden, Lillian, Kylie, Maddox, and Willow Hubbard; and one brother, Ronald Franklin (Dot).
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one sister, Marguerite Webber; and six brothers, Ralph, Ernest, Billy, Bobby, Glenn, and Charles Franklin.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church Simpsonville officiated by Pastor Rob White. Interment will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park in Fountain Inn.
The family will receive friends at the church starting at 1:00 pm.

Sad at the loss of Marion. I had known her since she moved to Simpsonville. She was a sweet lady.
