Lumis C. Bagwell III
Lumis C. Bagwell III, 65, of Gray Court, husband of Dianne D. Bagwell, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, while at home surrounded by family.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Lumis C. & Barbara W. Bagwell II.
Mr. Bagwell is survived by his children and step-children, Allyson Howell (Bill), Bridget Hawkins (Charlie), Ann Nelson (Shawn), Donny Malone (Jennifer), Jamie Malone, and Joshua Suttles; grandchildren, Kerrigan, Landon, Andy, Avery, Preston, Stasia, Emma, Erica, Matthew, Alicia, Joey, Arianna, Jacob, and Zoey; great-grandchildren, Caden, Charlotte, Matty, and Leo; and one brother, Kevin Bagwell and his wife, Kitty.
“The family will have a celebration of life on February 24th 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in (his) barn. Bring your best stories and memories to share. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local cancer and or hospice centers.”
A gentle giant, a kind soul, a willingness to help anyone, someone you could call and pick up where you left off, thankful for Carls friendship
He loved his wife, his daughters, his grandkids!
Carl had the biggest heart and a bigger smile. He found joy in the little things and found happiness in small talk and companionship. I miss you so much Carl. His wife DeeDee is the most loving and selfless woman I’ve ever met. Lord, please be with her and Josh and Donnie and Jennifer. They have been through so much in the last year. I pray for all of Carl’s family and friends.
A great man. He will be missed.
a good neighbor, would walk across and sit and talk with me on the deck. He never complained and always had a smile, loved his dog Buster and was always pleasant . Prayers for the family
