Linnie B. Jackson

Linnie Beulah Jackson, 84, of Simpsonville, widow of Millard F. Jackson, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX, and was a daughter of the late Rufus and Dorothy Dickey. 

A faithful wife to her childhood sweetheart, she created a stable and loving home for her family. Being the wife of a Navy veteran and pastor, her commitment and dedication to God, her husband, her family, and her country never wavered. She was a strong woman of faith in YeHoVaH and prayed for everyone faithfully.

Linnie is survived by her four children, Dale Jackson, Lori Swedberg (Scott), Bart Jackson (Larena), and Rosetta Brillant; twelve grandchildren, Matthew Jackson (Skylar), Sheri Leon Guerrero (Ian), Andrea Swedberg, Amanda Fehr (Jeff), Drew Jackson (Sophie), Lawrence Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Joshua Brillant (Andi), Kevin Brillant, Dustin Brillant (Vanessa), Zachery Brillant, and Tiffany Brillant; eight great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kholton, Samantha, Elias, Gabriela, Judah, Thomas and Journey; and one brother, Jimmie Dickey (Nancy).

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Deborah Jackson; grandson, Charles Joseph Jackson; and two siblings, Curtiss Dickey (Ann) and Brenda Griffin (Mike).

A Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home- Fountain Inn. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be held at a later date.
