Lillian Frances Adkins

Lillian Frances Adkins of Fountain Inn, S.C. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2013.

Born in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Hamen and Virginia Crist.
Mrs. Adkins loved her Church family and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 20 years. She worked outside the home at Cryovac for many years and most recently retired from Gen III as an Administrative Assistant.

Mrs. Adkins is survived by one son, Taylor Langston Palmer III of Fountain Inn; one daughter, Cristy Adkins of Fayetteville, N.C.; three grandchildren, Krystal Barnette, Summer Palmer and Harley Palmer; three great-grandchildren, Derick Barnette, Nathan Barnette and Michael Barnette; and two brothers, Mike Crist of Florida and Lynn Crist of California.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wendell Crist, Brent Crist and Allen Crist.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Altizer Chapel at Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville with Pastor Emeritus Guy Altizer officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 117 Davenport Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
