Leland Earl Leopard

Leland “Earl” Leopard, 86, of Fountain Inn, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late John and Janie Leopard. He was a member of First Baptist Simpsonville. 

He was married for 16 years to the love of his life, Cathy. 

He is survived by his daughters, Ronda Lancaster, Debbie (Tim) Brower and Susan (Robert) Ayres; grandchildren, Stephanie (Mitch) Snipes, Sonya (Ben) James, Ryan (Brittany) James, Austin James and Leeann (Vinny) Santoro; and great-grandchildren, Carson, Madison, Amelia, Autumn, Lydia, Eli and Millie.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Leopard, brothers, Daniel Leopard and David Leopard and a son-in-law Fredd Lancaster.

Earl loved anything outside camping, boating, skiing and fishing. To know him was to love him. He will be greatly missed. We that have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior have the promise that we will see him again. 

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Samaritans Purse.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home, 1150 N. Main St. Fountain Inn, SC 29644.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
