Judith ‘Judy’ Ann Smith

Judy Smith, 85, of Gray Court, wife of William ‘Bill’ Smith went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023 while at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Harvey, IL, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Everett & Frances Porter. She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville.

In addition to her husband, Bill, Mrs. Smith is survived by sons, William ‘Bill’ Dale Smith Jr (Paula), and Todd Eric Smith (Alice); grandchildren, Marie Yvonne Morris (Matthew), William ‘Billy’ Dale Smith III (Heather), Rebekah Sue Bullock (Michael), Paul Edward Smith (Julianne), Samantha Kathleen Brown (Logan), Christopher Michael Smith (Madison), Brooke Lauren Smith, Andrew ‘Drew’ Scott Smith (Alexandria); great-grandchildren, Makayla Marie Morris, Alexus Yvonne Morris, Christian Alexander Morris, Kathleen Rose Morris, Noah Austin Smith, Marianne Mae Smith, Weston Dwight Smith, Jameson Paul Bullock, Jack Christopher Bullock, Kendall Grace Smith, William Tribble Smith, Margaret Sloane Smith, Hayes Alexander Smith, Vivienne James Smith; and one brother, Edwin Porter.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Yvonne Del Toro (Roy), a grandson, Eric Alexander Del Toro; and two brothers, Leonard and Charles Porter.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Altizer Chapel of Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Rober Graziano officiating. Interment will follow in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Dr., Anderson, SC 29621.

The family will receive friends at the church starting at 10:00 am.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Calvary Baptist Church, 3810 Grandview Dr, Simpsonville, SC 29680.

    Judy was a special person and we had many memories working in Awana together! Prayers for all!!
