John W. Jordan III
John W. Jordan III, 75, of Fountain Inn, husband of Linda Beaumont Jordan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 8, 2017 while surrounded by his family.
Born in Abington, PA, Mr. Jordan was a son of the late John W. Jordan II and the late Martha Strank Jordan. Mr. Jordan was the owner and operator of Para-Chem for many years.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by one son, John W. Jordan IV of Fountain Inn; one daughter, Marnie Jordan-Wrona and her husband, Jim, of Simpsonville; three grandchildren, Challen Wrona, Keldin Wrona, and Tristan Jordan; one sister, Susan J. Mauro; a niece, Elizabeth J. Blevins and her husband, Michael, and their daughter, Maya J. Blevins; a nephew, Robert William Jordan Jr. and his wife, Meghan, and their children, William E. Jordan and Oakleigh M. Jordan; and a nephew Peter W. Lewis and his son, Simon P. Lewis.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert W. Jordan and his wife, Pamela Parola Jordan; a brother-in-law, Fred Mauro; and one nephew, Glen C. Lewis.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Mr. Jordan’s caregivers, Linda May, Cindy White, Beth Walker, Chorice A. Williams, Caroline Fowler, Judy Cockrum, Melanie Cundiff, Justin Trocki; and The Coach House Restaurant.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2252 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 4:00 – 6:30 PM at Cannon Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be in Cannon Memorial Park Whispering Waters Garden.
