I got to meet “Aunt Jean” for the first time recently. What a gracious and spirited woman. It was such a please to have met and prayed with her.

Our condolences to Gary and prayers for God’s comfort during this time of grief.

  • Garry,
I always seem to have a lot of holy cards that I get at church. Tonight I found one that stated what I thought was appropriate for your Mom’s passing.
“In the end there are three things that last- faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love.”
Remember that you will always have your Mom’s love just as she will always have yours.
    Love,
    Deb

Garry, take comfort from these words in 2 Cor. 5:8. “to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.” The minute that Aunt Jean breathed her last breath on earth, she breathed her next breath in Heaven. How glorious that must have been! I’m praying that God will comfort you with those thoughts. I love you and will continue to pray for you.

  • My sincere condolences.

Dear Moon Family: My deepest sympathy for the family and friends of Jean. We will never get used to losing our loved ones in death because as Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “We were created with everlasting life in view.” But may you find comfort in knowing that Almighty God has promised that soon he will swallow up death forever along with the pain that it brings. (Isaiah 25:8) God has also promised that he will return Jean to you as it says at John 5:28,29. You can also learn more about what happens when a loved one dies at JW.org.
    Sincerely,
    Susan
