Irene McIntyre Lominick

Irene McIntyre Lominick, widow of George Lewis Lominick, died Monday, September 30, 2013 at her home. Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late O. Wayne and Eula Fincher McIntyre.
Irene was retired from J.P. Stevens, Dunean Plant and was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church and the T.E.L Sunday School Class.

Surviving are one daughter Shirley Harvell of Taylors; 4 grandchildren Darrell Taylor of Easley, Mark Taylor of Taylors, Charles Straub and Robyn Carr of Simpsonville; 5 great-grandchildren Jennifer Miles, Skyler Straub, Charley Greene, Nicholas Carr and Brittany Carr; and two great-great grandsons Jacob and Joseph Miles.

Irene was predeceased by a daughter Nancy L. Straub and one brother Coy Lee McIntyre and two sons-in-law Richard Straub and Chuck Harvell.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Cannon Funeral Chapel, Fountain Inn. The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park.
