Hunter Chandler McCall

Hunter Chandler McCall, 27, originally from Simpsonville, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.  Born in Greenville, Hunter was a son of Chuck A. and Virginia Porter McCall.  He was serving as a Behavioral Health Technician at Life Vessel Treatment and Recovery Center in California.

Hunter could light up a room with his sense of humor and love of people.  He was a steadfast friend and enjoyed just hanging out.  Hunter was an avid gamer and a movie fan.  Some of his favorite movies included Full Metal Jacket, Pulp Fiction, and Saving Private Ryan.  Hunter had a huge heart and never met a stranger. His calling and passion was helping people with struggles in life.

In addition to his parents, Hunter is survived by two brothers, Harrison McCall of Los Angeles, CA, and Carson McCall (Erin) of Boiling Springs.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville beginning at 2:00 pm.  Casual dress is encouraged.  The family will visit with friends following the service.
