Geraldine Vinton Schnabel
Geraldine Vinton Schnabel, 92, widow of Robert C. Schnabel, of Gray Court, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 14, 2023, while at home surrounded by her family. Born in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Edward H. and Irene Mahoney Vinton.
Geri is survived by her daughters, Peggy Miniard (Josef Weiss); four grandchildren, Colton Bazzle (Melissa Gault), Cody Bazzle, Robert Miniard (Leah), and Abigail Hodges (Brandon); and nine great-grandchildren, Luke, Sadie, Jayce, Dillon, Jaxson, Bryce, Kinsley, Finn, and Garrett.
In addition to her husband and parents, Geri was preceded in death by two daughters, Laurie Kucera and Mary Bazzle; and her granddaughter Sarah Miniard Hutsell.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home in Fountain Inn. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.
