Gerald Pearson

Gerald Pearson, 67, of Fountain Inn, husband of Carol Ann Pearson for 49 years, passed away Monday morning, July 14, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Willie Perry Pearson and the late Dora Mae Pearson.

Gerald was of the Baptist faith. He was the long time co-owner of P&H Welding & Machine along with his personal friend and business partner, Jimmy Hyman. Gerald worked most recently with Hartness International.

In addition to his wife, Carol Ann, he is survived by one son, Chris Pearson, of Fountain Inn; two daughters, Jinny Bumgarner, and her husband, Britt, of Fountain Inn, and Carol Davis and her husband, Milton, of Laurens; grandchildren, Taylor Lauren Moore (Zack) of Fountain Inn, Anna Britt of Fountain Inn, Rebecca Pearson of Laurens; step-grandchildren, Justin and Cody Davis of Laurens; great-grandchildren, Hayden Reece Moore of Fountain Inn and Lawson Moore due to arrive around Thanksgiving; brother, Wilton Abercrombie Pearson of Fountain Inn; and sister Shirley Pearson Garrett and her husband, Earl, of Laurens.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Temple Baptist Church in Simpsonville.

Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Cannon Memorial Park.
