Geneva Craft Forrester
Geneva C. Forrester, 82, of Simpsonville, widow of James L. “T-Model” Forrester, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 24, 2015.
Born in Simpsonville on May 16, 1933 she was a daughter of the late Alan Craft and the late Carrie Thrasher Craft.
Mrs. Forrester was a long-time member of Standing Springs Baptist Church and worked for many years in the textile industry with Mount Vernon Mills.
She is survived by two sons, James L. Forrester, Jr. and his wife, Vickie, of Simpsonville, and Christopher Shane Forrester and his wife, Michelle, of Fountain Inn; two daughters, Shirley F. Wooten and Terri F. Dill both of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Jennifer (Danny) Griffin of Pelzer, Doni Leigh Lollis of Ft. Inn, Jaime Williams of Simpsonville, Carrie (Scott) Buchanan of NC, Shannon (Brad) Thurston of Simpsonville, James L. (Lauren) Forrester III of Simpsonville, Casey (Mark) Knight of Simpsonville, Crystal (Kevin) Dix of Clover, Jacob (Brittany) Leonard of CALIF, and Kaylen Forrester of Ft. Inn; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Forrester was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Standing Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Benjamin A. Hill officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Church prior to the service from 1:30 – 2:30 PM.
Burial will be in the Church cemetery following the service.
