Freddie Mae Robertson Manley
Mrs. Freddie Mae Robertson Manley, 89, of 212 Cherry Lane, Fountain Inn, SC, died December 11, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 2, 1920 in Fountain Inn to the late Fred Lee Robertson and Willie Mae Henderson Robertson. She was retired from Beattie Plant a division of Woodside Mills. She was a life-time member of Emmanuel Praise and Worship Center where she was a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Hoyt Manley; son, Roger Dale Manley; brothers, Charles Robertson, Jimmy Robertson, L.C. Robertson; sisters, Thelma Blackstone, Evelyn Webb and Ruby Owensby.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue Scott and husband Preston of Taylors; daughter-in-law, Polly Manley of Fountain Inn; brother, Ray Robertson of Gray Court; sisters, Violet Watkins of Greenville, Faye Bridges of Simpsonville, Betty Johnson of Greer, Bobbie Jean Reed of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Cindy Scott, Keith Scott, Roger Dale Manley, Jr., Michelle Wilt; four great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Cannon Funeral Home in Fountain Inn. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ernest Barr and Rev. Eugene McElhanon will officiate. Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park.
