Francis James McGowan
Francis James McGowan, 83, of Simpsonville, loving husband of Armeta McGowan, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025.
Born in Bronx, NY, he was the oldest son of the late John and Ellen McGowan.
Francis served in the United States Navy from 1958-1962 aboard the USS Intrepid.
In addition to his wife of 60 years, he is survived by a son, Vincent McGowan and his wife, Kimberly; granddaughters, Sydney McGowan, Mallory McGowan and Reilly McGowan; and a sister, Eileen Phelps and her husband, Marshall.
He was preceded in death by a son, John J. McGowan and a brother, John B. McGowan.
