Doris Brown Culbertson
Doris Brown Culbertson, 94, of Mauldin, widow of James R. Culbertson, went to be her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 while at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Laurens, SC, she was a daughter of the late Samuel & Florence Pearson Brown.
Mrs. Culbertson is survived by two sons, Sammy Culbertson of Simpsonville, and Jody Culbertson and his wife, Veronica, of Mauldin; and one grandson, Matthew Culbertson, also of Simpsonville.
In addition to her her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah C. Simpson.
Due to COVID-19, no services are planned at this time.
Just a few words to express my heartfelt sympathy. Sammy, Jody,Veronica, and Matt, It goes without saying,that you all know how much I loved her,always have. Of all the brothers and sisters of my dad, she was my favorite. I know that you knew that she had twelve other brothers and sisters. I hop that I can name them for you. I will try and start with the oldest to the youngest.

sSo sad to learn of Doris’s passing. We were neighbors many,many years ago, and my son Johnny was friends with Jody. Doris helped get Johnny his first job at Texize years ago. She was such a warm caring person. Our condolences to the family as are our prayers for peace in this sad time.Margaret Pine McManus and Johnny Pine
