Delma Ada Sisson
Delma Ada Sisson, of Simpsonville, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 29, 1915 in Roxbury, Mass to Peter and Ada Guyatte. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence and her two older brothers, Walter and Robert. She was married to Clarence for 63 years until his death on July 21, 1996.
She is survived by her 3 children; son, Ronald (Madeline) from Indialantic, Florida, daughter Nancy Woodcock from Simpsonville, S.C. and son Errol (Martha) from New River, Arizona; as well as 9 loving grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 14 great, great grandchildren.
She was a loving mother and home maker and was shy by 2 months of her 100th birthday.
No services are planned. We would like to acknowledge the loving care and devotion given to our mother by the staff, especially The Med Techs, at The Springs, in Simpsonville as well as the wonderful care given by the nurses with Amedisys Hospice. We want to especially thank Tanya Johnson, of Amedysis, for the compassion and support given to Delma and her family.
