Charles Kohler Taylor

Charles K. Taylor, 79, of Fountain Inn, husband of Judy Taylor for 60 years, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 22, 2016.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Benjamin G. Taylor and the late Virginia Surratt Taylor. Mr. Taylor was of the Methodist faith and a life-long member of Green Pond UMC. He retired from GE.

In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by one son, Wendell Taylor and his wife, Ginger, of Fountain Inn, and one daughter, Terry Peace and her husband, Alan, of Chapin; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 26, 2016 starting at 1:00 PM at Green Pond United Methodist Church.

A Funeral Service will follow at Green Pond UMC at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bob Keely officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
