Betty Jean Seitz

Betty Jean Seitz, age 83, wife of Frank W. Seitz, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Beale and Jane Elizabeth Neilson Weeks. Mrs. Seitz was a graduate of the West Jersey Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1952. She was a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department of Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She was the Vice-President of the Navy Wives Club #218 in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Seitz was an Elder at Redemption World Outreach Center in Greenville, SC. She loved animals and had a great sense of humor.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, Mrs. Seitz is survived by two daughters, Nancy Filer and husband Richard, and Sue Seitz; two grandchildren, Megan Filer and Jeffrey Filer and wife Danielle; and a great granddaughter, Kellen Jade Filer.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Daybreak Community Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Brown and Rev. Tim Bouton. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn.
