Anita DeVriendt

Anita DeVriendt passed peacefully from this mortal life into immortality, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the age of 86. She was looking forward to going to a place where the Maker and builder was God, her Heavenly Father. She read His word daily and now is in the presence of the Word of God.

Anita felt blessed to be part of a bigger spiritual family at the Croswell Wesleyan Church. She regularly thanked God for her church family! Anita trusted her Lord with all her heart and He has guided her paths home to himself (Proverbs 3:5,6). Truly, the joy of the Lord was her strength (Nehemiah 8; 10b). Anyone who knew her, got to see and experience this joyful, charitable spirit. She was a prayer warrior at home and at Croswell Wesleyan. Thank you Mom for always teaching us to pray to the one who holds all things in His hands.

She leaves behind seven children, whom she loved dearly; Christine, Eric, Brian, Vince, Paula, John and Kathy, with their spouses who loved her as Mom; grandchildren, great grandchildren, three sisters, MaryEllen, Margo and Rhoda, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 A.M. – 12 Noon on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Croswell Wesleyan Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday at the church.
