Amy Jo Westcott

Amy Jo Westcott, 45, of Simpsonville, mother of Dylan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.

Born in Elmhurst, IL, Amy was the daughter of Sandy Adams and Joe Hedl and step-daughter of Terry Hedl.

In addition to her son, Dylan, and parents, Amy is survived by her brother, Bill Hedl, of Mass.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Doris Rustemeyer, and Joe Sr. and Anne Hedl.

She was a graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in Human Resources and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. She was employed at Advanced Technology Services as a recruiting specialist. Amy was a long-time member and choreographer of Greenville in Harmony, a Sweet Adelines Barbershop Chorus.

A Celebration of Amy’s Life Service will be held on Tuesday evening, November 10, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
