Ursula Tiedemann Semmler
Ursula Marian (Tiedemann) Semmler of Simpsonville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the age of 92. Ursula is preceded in death by her beloved husband Norman Semmler and her parents the late Franz Tiedemann and Charlotte Tiedemann Obel. Ursula was born in Brooklyn, New York.
Ursula loved the challenge of playing golf in her early years and found her passion for quilting in her later years. Ursula was a member of Busy Bees Quilt Guild in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. In her career Ursula was a real estate agent and retired from H&R Block after 25 years as a tax consultant. Norman and Ursula lived in seven states and settled in South Carolina to be near family.
Ursula was most proud of her family and survived by four sons, Clifford (Jeannette) of Wisconsin, Douglas (Elizabeth) of Simpsonville, Bradford (Sue) of Australia and Kenneth (Tracey) of Piedmont; Grandma to nine grandchildren Kyle Semmler, Elyse (Walter) Bullard IV, David Semmler (Danielle), Katelyn (Derek) Holland, Ashley Semmler, Nicole Semmler (Luis), Rachael Semmler, Ben Semmler and Rosie Semmler; Gigi to three great-grandchildren Avery, Quin and Moss; one niece Skyler Cripps and three nephews Rob, Greg and Scott Sullivan.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mauldin. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm and family will receive friends directly after the service. If you are unable to attend, the service will be live streamed and available on YouTube search for Messiah Lutheran Church, Mauldin SC.

So very sorry about the passing of your mother. She was loved by her friends at Busy Bee’s. She helped me often with sewing and quilting projects. I will miss her smile.
