Betty Jo Stone

Betty Jo Stone, 91, of Simpsonville, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. She was the daughter of the late David Leonard Goodnough and the late Ruby Carnes Goodnough. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Charles Raymond Stone.

Betty was a dedicated military wife and homemaker. She was a long time member of Temple Baptist Church in Simpsonville. She is survived by two sons, John Stone and his wife Connie of Colorado Springs, CO and Gary Stone and his wife Kathy of Bloomington, MN; a brother Dick Goodnough and his wife Betty of Simpsonville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by two children, Jan Stone and Tom Stone.

A memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Betty will be interred at a later date at Dawn Valley Memorial Park in Minneapolis, MN.
