Lawrence “Freddy” Rader III
Lawrence “Freddy” Rader III, 30, of Anderson, died on Tuesday, January 17, 2017.
Born in Charleston, SC, he was a son of Lawrence “Dino” Rader Jr. and his wife, Lisa, and his mother, Pamela Lloyd. Freddy graduated from Mauldin High School and worked as a manager with Chili’s restaurants. He loved his job and the many people who worked with him. He enjoyed many hobbies including collecting movies, comics, and preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse. Freddy was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan, a Member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and a remarkable friend to all he met. He was always willing to help a friend in need and never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, Freddy is survived by his fiancé, Malinda Schubert, of Anderson; a brother, Joshua H. Rader of Greenville; and his grandparents, John and Glenda Linn of Florida and Ron and Joan Bridges of Simpsonville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Cody D. Rader; a cousin, Drew Rader; his paternal grandfather, Lawrence F. Rader Sr.; and his maternal grandparents David and Jacqueline Lloyd.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Culbertson of Holly Ridge Baptist Church officiating.
The family will receive friends starting at 1:30 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one’s favorite charity in Freddy’s name.
