Anton Emil Kamar

Anton Emil Kamar, 76, of Simpsonville, husband of Mounira Kamar, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 4, 2024. 

Born in Jaffa, Israel, Mr. Kamar was a son of the late Emil & Laurice Kamar. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville. Anton was a kind man who loved to garden, cook, and shared his wisdom with all. He enjoyed the company of others, and loved to talk about Jesus and reach souls for Christ.

In addition to his wife, Mounira, he is survived by his children, Patty Jett (Karl), Emil Kamar (Teresa), Julian Guerra, Hialda Alpizar, Neil Kamar Shahin (Rebekah), and David A. Kamar; eight grandchildren, Anthony Kamar, Emily Jett, Andrew Jett, Dominic Kamar, Melody Kamar, Vitali Kamar, Aksa Shahin, Nuzi Shahin; and five siblings, Samira Kamar, Yousef Kamar, Julia Kamar, Amal Ward, Giselle Bawab.

Mr. Kamar was preceded in death by five siblings, Sameer Kamar, David Kamar, Norma Kamar, Yolanda Kamar, and Housam Kamar.

A Memorial Service will be officiated by Pastor Robert Graziano on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Altizer Chapel of Calvary Baptist Church, 3810 Grandview Dr., Simpsonville. The family will receive friends following the service.

    Mounira and David,

    Our hearts go out to you and all of Tony’s family. Tony was a man of exceptional character and we will remember him for all the good things that he did during his life. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
