Linda Carol Connors
Linda Carol Connors, 64, wife of Richard D. Connors, of Simpsonville, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, December 18, 2023. Born in Portsmouth, VA, Linda was a daughter of the late Edward F. and Mozelle Boone Peoples.
Linda spent her life investing in and taking care of others. Although she cared for thousands of patients over her 27 year nursing career, her greatest joy was taking care of her family. Between raising two girls, helping her aging parents, making memories with her siblings, and doting on her nieces, nephews and grand babies, her loyalty and love reached both deep and wide. Their love for her was and is deep and wide back.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her two daughters, Stephanie (Brian) Büda and Melissa (Alan) Smith; four grandchildren Ellise, James, and Lydian Büda, and Amelia Smith; and four siblings Mike (Diane) Peoples, Gary (Brenda) Peoples, John (Carol) Peoples, and Patty (Donnie Beede) Wilhoit; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will visit with friends on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home in Simpsonville from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. The Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 10:00 am. Burial will follow the service at Graceland East Memorial Park.
