Janie Blanche Boggs Fowler
Janie Blanche Boggs Fowler, 86, of Simpsonville, wife of Cecil H. Fowler, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 23, 2023.
Born on their family farm in the Roanoke community of Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late William Miles & Clovie Julian Boggs. Mrs. Fowler was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Conestee. She attended Roanoke Elementary School and Graduated from Pickens High School in 1956. Afterwards she worked many years at Kent Manufacturing in Pickens, SC. She met and married her husband of 56 years, Mr. Cecil Fowler and they lived in Simpsonville. Mrs. Fowler retired after many years at Cryovac.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fowler is survived by two sisters, Ressie B. Crumpton (John), and Essie B. Metcalf (Clifford); a sister-in-law, Carol Boggs; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Sara Lou B. Smith, Frances Rosalene B. Williams, and Mary Mahala B. Wooll; and two brothers, Luther Miles Boggs, and William Arthur Boggs.
A Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church Conestee on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tony Finney officiating. Burial will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park in Fountain Inn.
The family will receive friends at the church starting at 1:00 pm.

I was so sorry to learn of Blanche’s passing. She has always been one of the sweetest, kindest people I know. Growing up, we used to have some good times.

I’m sadden to hear about the loss of Mrs. Fowler. She has been such a great neighbor all these years. My prayers are with you. I will miss all her calls and talks . Such a sweet lady .
I love this dear lady. We will be praying for you, Bro.Cecil. We didn’t hear of her passing until too late to make it to the funeral but want you to know that we will be praying for you and the family that the Lord will be near and dear to you and bring you comfort. Love and orayers.

She was a sweet lady and devoted Christian and friend.
She will be missed but we will see her again.
