Thomas Edward Pennington

Thomas E. Pennington, 66, of Simpsonville, husband of Nancy Griffin Pennington of 41½ years, died on Thursday, October 20, 2016.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Thomas Albert and Leona Pennington and the late Ruby Smith Anderson. Mr. Pennington served our country in the United States Army.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by sons, Jason (Telisa) Pennington of Simpsonville, Michael (Katie) Pennington of Simpsonville; a daughter, Stephanie (Sammy) Malone of Woodruff; grandchildren, Bridgett, Olivia, Anthony, Dylan, Audry, Ashlynne, Gibson and Marilyn; four brothers and seven sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
