Carolyn Jackson Riddle
Carolyn Jackson Riddle, widow of Ronald (R2) Riddle, Sr., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the age of 85, while surrounded by her family. Born in Woodruff, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Marshall E. and Eula Hembree Jackson.
In addition to her husband and parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her son Michael P. Garner and her brothers, Edgar and Jack Jackson.
She will be remembered by her children, Steve Garner, Ronald “Chip” Riddle, Jr. (Linda), Rhonda Owens (Mack); grandchildren Kim “Nikki” Childress, Stephen and Parker Garner; Ashleigh Wham, David Garner, Ryan and Josh Riddle, and Heather Owens; 16 great-grandchildren; and special friend Debbie Lemmons.
Carolyn was retired from 3M Company, an avid shopper, a Red Hatter, volunteer exercise instructor at Simpsonville Senior Center, and loved her friends and laughter.
A Visitation will be on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home in Simpsonville, SC. The Memorial Service will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 5:00 pm.

I am devastated by the loss of Carolyn. She was such a fun person to be around and to work with! She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Please accept my deepest condolences. Carolyn was a joyful person and kind to everyone. I am one of many 3M folks who enjoyed her company and friendship. She had so much energy it was as if her batteries never ran down.
