James Floyd Biter Jr.

James F. Biter, Jr., 76, of Simpsonville, husband of Patsy Long Biter of 53 years, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 8, 2016.

Born in Seneca, S.C. he was a son of the late James Floyd Biter Sr. and the late Beatrice Allen Biter. Mr. Biter was of the Baptist faith and served our country in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife, Patsy, he is survived by one daughter, Lori Morgan, and her husband, Thomas, of Simpsonville; one son, Kevin Mark Biter, and his wife, Tracy, of Simpsonville; seven grandchildren, Amanda Biter, Josef Curran Drawdy, Connor Drawdy, Cailin Drawdy, Collin Morgan, Trevor Morgan, and Talia Morgan; one great-granddaughter Aubrey Bishop; and one sister, Sara Strickland.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Roosevelt Biter, and one sister, Shirlene Kilpatrick.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 11 at 5:30 pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Goss officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mr. Biter’s daughter’s home at 407 Waterton Way in Simpsonville following the visitation.
