Edith Josephine Dorow

Edith Josephine Dorow, 86, wife of William Henry Dorow for over 60 years, of Mauldin passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023.  Born in San Antonio, TX, Edith was a daughter of the late Henry and Hilda Sivert Sunda.

Edith worked as an executive assistant for many years.  She enjoyed sewing and rock and shell hunting.  Edith was also a history and genealogy buff and a member of the Snow Campaign Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

In addition to her husband, Edith is survived by two sons, William Henry Dorow, Jr (Elaine) of Union Town, OH and Douglas James Dorow (Cindy) of Charlotte; her daughter, Ann Denise Hallman (Blaine) of Mauldin; eight grandchildren, David Dorow, Amy Dorow, Megan Rodriguez, Rachel Loftis, Emma Dorow, Heather Dorow, Bethany Hallman, and Jacob Hallman; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Ann Marie Jumper (Ret. Col. Jerry Jumper) of Boerne, TX; and her brother, Henry James Sunda of Douglass,TX.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 in the mausoleum chapel at Graceland East Memorial Park beginning at 11:00 am.
