Makenzie, your mom was the best of women. On the outside, gorgeous of course, lithe and strong, nutrition-aware before her time, with sparkling eyes, the voice of an angel, and the best hair on Earth. But on the inside…loyal, lighthearted, thoughtful, mischievous, unvarnished, keenly able suss out nonsense, and with the kindest word, laughing or straightforward, always just right. I cherished my Nov 2 sister, and pray as she lives in you that you are led back to her in your own friendships.
