Ronald Wayne Brown

Ronald W. Brown, 65, of Simpsonville, widower of Mary Smith Brown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 31, 2016.

Born September 4, 1950 in Laurens, S.C. he was a son of the late Leroy Brown and the late Evelyn Aletha Smith. Mr. Brown worked for many years as a doffer in the textile industry.

Mr. Brown is survived by two sons, Ronnie Brown and his wife, Barbara, of Belton, and Grady Brown and his wife, Beverly, of Honea Path; two daughters, Aletha Ng and her husband, Efendy, of Simpsonville, and Betty Black and her husband, Ric, of Williamston; grandchildren, Savannah, Emily, Christian, Matthew, Martin, Ethan, Ian, Gabby, Alexis, J.R., Tina and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Adelaida, Daniel and Miguel; and two sisters, Brenda Nelson and Mary Brewer.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Brown.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Emmanuel Full Gospel Tabernacle, 10 N. Circle Dr., Piedmont, S.C. 29673.

Family and friends are invited to the home of Mary and Efendy Ng, 161 Border Ave, Simpsonville, S.C. 29680 immediately following the service.
