Charles “Chuck” Alletto

Charles “Chuck” Louis Alletto, 79, of Simpsonville, husband of Jane Alletto, passed away on Monday, January 9th, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Chuck was born in Rochester, NY and was the son of the late Louis and Mary Alletto.

Chuck was a 1962 graduate of West High School, Rochester, NY and enlisted in the navy as a Sea Bee after graduation. He really loved his time in service an got to see many places around the world. After discharge from the service, Chuck became a sheet metal worker and worked for Leo J. Roth Corp., Rochester, NY for many years before retiring and moving to Simpsonville, SC.

During retirement, Chuck enjoyed working on cars, fixing and building things around the house, talking with his neighbors, mowing the lawn, watching Nascar Races, and traveling. He and Jane enjoyed cruising to Alaska, the Mexican Riviera, and the Caribbean. They also visited Bermuda and many other states in their ventures. Their best vacations were taking their two grandsons to Disney World twice a year. He always took great care of his family.

Chuck was a very happy person with a great sense of humor and loved to dance. Chucks memory will be cherished by his family. He will be remembered as a kind and loving Husband, Father, and Papa.
Chuck is at peace now. He has gone to be with God in heaven and will be watching over us.

We love you, Chuck, and you will be missed terribly.

In Addition to his wife, Jane, Chuck is survived by one daughter, Kelly Ann Green; two grandsons, Payton and Drake Lomax; one great granddaughter, Scarlett Faye Lomax; and his dog, Chico.

A Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 3:00 pm in the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum at Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.

    Chuck had two siblings, Thomas and Carmela “Dolly” (deceased). As well as two nieces, three nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He also had two daughters, Cori and Caryn and five grandchildren.
