Clara Pace Proctor
Clara Pace Proctor, 83, wife of Robert A. Proctor, of Simpsonville, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Born in Saluda, NC, she was a daughter of the late W. Bedford and Louise Brock Pace.
In addition to her husband, Clara is survived by her daughters, Debbie Banther (Eddie) of Saluda, Terry Wilson (Scott) of Saluda, Tracilyn Vandenbossche (Alan) of Almont, MI; daughter-in-law Sherri Proctor of Ellenton, FL; ten grandchildren, Jeremy, Heather, Morgan, Michelle, Megan, Michael, JJ, Jessica, Robert “Bobby”, and Victoria “Tori”; great grandchildren, Jesse, Hayes, Kye, Areli, Jaxon, Briella, Alissa, Abrielle, Annabella, and Riverlyn; five sisters, Edna Holbert (Harold), Sue Burns (Johnny), Dolly Corbin (Eddie), Brenda Case (Clint), and Ann Gregory (Bobby); two brothers, Rick Pace (Joyce) and Ronald Pace (Debbie); and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her son Robert “Bobby” Proctor; a sister, Lore Green; and a brother, Bedford “Buster” Pace.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 pm.

Clara was such a dear neighbor to all of us in the 100 block of Chenoweth Drive. We will miss her beautiful smile and her sense of humor. Prayers for peace and comfort for Bob and all her family.
