James Arthur Ray Fowler Jr.
James A.R. Fowler, Jr., 75, of Simpsonville, widower of Tina Neal Fowler, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 while at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Simpsonville, he was the son of the late James A.R. & Dorothy P. Fowler Sr. Mr. Fowler was a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his children Ray Fowler and his wife, Erin, of Simpsonville, and Tonya Fowler- Owens and her husband Soup Owens-Fowler of Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren, Jay, Abby, and Lily Fowler; and two sisters, Pat Fowler and Dolly Lively.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
A Private Memorial and Committal Service will be held in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park with Pastor Brett Aiken of Temple Baptist Church officiating.

Ray, I am very sorry for your loss. It sounds like your dad lead a good long life of service to his country and his family.
James and I grew up together around the old mill hill . What a great friend he was to many people. Sorry I want be able to be at the service because of being out of town. God bless the family. Will be praying for all.
