Doris Wade Hegler

Doris W. Hegler, 79, of Simpsonville, widow of Billy Joe Hegler, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 28, 2015.

Born in New Boston, Ohio, Mrs. Hegler was a daughter of the late David Wade and Virginia LeMaster Wade.

A member of First Baptist Church Simpsonville, Mrs. Hegler served as an Executive Secretary for many years in private business.

Mrs. Hegler is survived by her son, Bradley Charles Hegler, and his wife, Gina, of Charlotte, N.C.; her daughter, Patricia H. Gilbert, and her husband, Jimmy, of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Haleigh Gilbert Horgan and her husband, Andrew, of Greenville, and Megan Elizabeth Hegler and Wade Hegler, both of Charlotte, N.C.; brothers, Dave Wade, Billy Wade and Virgil Wade; and sisters, Janice Bigadza and Linda Armstrong.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hegler was preceded in death by three brothers, George Wade, Richard Wade and Tom Wade.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Simpsonville City Cemetery.
