Michael Edward Link

Michael Edward Link, 54, of Greenville passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

He was born on November 15, 1967 in Warner Robins, Georgia and was a son of Penny Shinkle Link and the late Ronald L. Link. 

On March 20, 2014 he married the “the love of his life” Stephanie Bond Link, who survives.     

Michael graduated from Richland High School in 1985 and ITT Technical Institute in 1987. He worked as a maintenance technician and operations leader at GE for 7 years.        

Michael was an avid Jeep enthusiast. He was an unapologetic patriot who loved to ride in his jeep flying his American flag. He grew up playing the guitar with his father which was a lifelong hobby. He also loved entertaining others with his BBQ skills.     

Michael was a loving husband and father and is survived by his children, Brianna Roper (Jacob), Ashlynn Link, Mikayla Link, Danielle Link, Michael Link, Braden Link. He is also survived by his twin brother, Steven Link (Suzette) and furbabies, Queenie and Gizmo.        

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends following the service.
