Curtis Edward Wilson
Curtis Edward Wilson, 78, of Duncan, widower of Carol Elizabeth Wilson, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
Born in Chester, SC, he was a son of the late Curtis Woodrow & Mildred Green Wilson.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughters, Cindy Bowling (Richard), and Denise Roof (Ed), all of Duncan; his grandchildren, Amber Tillman, Michael Mayfield (Caddi), and Cortni Bowling; and one great-grandchild, Jaylin Wilson.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Jo Smith; and three brothers, Donald L., Thomas W., and Dennis Ray Wilson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 3:00 pm, officiated by Dr. Jerry C. White, in the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 2:00 pm.
Dear family, we are saddened to hear of Mr. Wilson’s passing. Prayers for all of you as Fred & I have both walked this path. It’s comforting to know he is pain-free. He will be greatly missed by us and his other neighbors.

I am so saddened by the news of Uncle Eddie’s passing. He always made me laugh and I have fond memories of him and Aunt Carol while growing up. I will always cherish them. Prayers for Cindy and Denise during this difficult time.
