We are so sorry to hear that Mickey has passed. He was a great friend and colleague. I am going to miss my weekly calls to discuss a project or answer a computer question and hear him say “I appreciate you man”. Although he is in a better place, we will greatly miss him. We will continue to lift the Baker family up in prayer.

My deepest condolences on the passing of your father and grandfather. Mickey was an influential peer to me and many others as an engineer and I am forever grateful for the time he spent sharing his knowledge and wisdom. His life will be celebrated and his legacy will live on.
Melissa and I were saddened to hear of Mickey’s passing. Mickey was a mentor and friend and he will be missed by many in the engineering community.
Mickey was my Citadel Regimental Band classmate and friend. I have many wonderful memories of Mickey and our other Band classmates of over 50 years ago and since then as we have all stayed in contact since our Citadel graduation. Mickey and Lydia, we miss you and love you. May God continue to bless us with memories of Mickey and Lydia, and in the past year+ Mickey’s special friend Cheryl Werner, who continues to receive our love and prayers.
In the short time we knew him, he made a huge impact on our lives. It was obvious he loved his family. So sorry for your loss.
I am sorry to hear of Mickey’s passing. I had the opportunity to get to know him as a fellow engineer. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
Mickey was such a warm and caring man. I will surely miss his smiling face and our conversations. May God bless his family and comfort them. Cherish all your memories and celebrate time spent with Mickey.

So thankful that Mickey is with our Lord Jesus. My prayers are with his children and grandchildren, and all his extended family.
So many memories! Growing up together at the ARP church, as members of the class of ‘65 Greenwood High, at Erskine with Lydia when he could leave the Citadel campus, and during the early years of his career in Greenwood. The times Mickey, John Duval and I shared will be in my memory until our reunion in Heaven. Rest In Peace dear friend!
Meadors and I are saddened at the passing of Mickey. He was such a fine, Christian man with a sweet spirit. We served on parents council at Erskine with Lydia and Mickey when our sons were there. It was just the best time and they were wonderful to work and spend time with those four years!God bless his family and the comfort to know he has received his heavenly reward.
I am so sorry to see that Mickey went to Heaven a little over 2 months ago. My family and his parents were neighbors before he was born and actually we both built homes on Wade St. in Greenwood. When Mickey was born, my Mother, Ruby Mitchell Corley RN, went to the hospital with Sara and when her doctor arrived my Mom met him when he stepped off the elevator and told him “it’s a boy”. Her doctor claimed he was held up by a Red Light. Mickey was named for my Mother and I noticed that one of his children is called “Mitch” just like my Mother was when in nurses training. Mickey and his parents were such lovely people and they greatly loved their sons and their families. I just wished Mickey happy birthday on Facebook before seeing Cheryl’s post.
