Kathleen R Streetman
Kathleen Richardson Streetman, 101, of Simpsonville, SC widow of Benjamin Curtis “Curt” Streetman, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 while at home surrounded by her family.
Affectionately known as “Grandma,” she lived 101 years enjoying gardening, cooking, and hosting her family and friends. She met her husband Curt in Columbia, SC, and they had a beautiful life together with their four boys until his passing in 1984.
Born in Centenary, SC, she lived on the farm with her Mama Ethel Foxworth Richardson, her Daddy Clarence Milborne Richardson, her two brothers C.M. (Mary Lois) and David (Annette) Richardson, and her sister Libby (Dick) McCoy. Her siblings all preceded her in death, as well as her son James Frances “Jimmy” Streetman.
She is survived by her son Benjamin Curtis “Ben” Streetman, Jr., Richard Craig “Rick” Streetman (Kathy), and Stanley Thomas “Stan” Streetman (Jeannine); her eight grandchildren that she loved dearly, Kathy White (Steve), Josh Streetman, Taylor Streetman (Astrid), Brett Streetman (Michele), Gabe Streetman, Nikael Streetman, Kristin Streetman, and Erin Streetman; her four great-grandchildren, Matthew Skipper, Apolline Streetman, Loic Streetman, Autumn Streetman; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 pm Friday, July 16, 2021 at Simpsonville United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor George Riser officiating.
Interment will be in the Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3622 SC-41A, Marion, SC 29571 on Saturday, July 17 at 1:00 pm.
