John “Jack” R. Urban
John “Jack” R. Urban, 78, husband of Vickie Urban of Simpsonville, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jack was a son of John F. and Mary Kula Urban. Jack served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by three daughters, Shelly Foley (Mark) and Charlene Wade (Shane) both of Rifle, CO, and Julie Larson (Dan) of Goodyear, AZ; five grandchildren; and a brother Ken Urban.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Jack will be interred at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery in Anderson. Jack was very proud of his service as a Marine. So, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the donor’s military charity of choice.
