Christine Phyllis Lorentz
Christine Phyllis Lorentz, 64, wife of Kenneth Lorentz of Fountain Inn, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 5, 2021. Born in Hartford, CT, she was a daughter of the late Burtis and Hazel Tharau Ransom.
In addition to her husband, Christine is survived by five siblings, Marylou Ransom of Chesnee, Sharron Ransom of Bethel, CT, Burtis Ransom, Jr of Gaylordsville, CT, Gail Raymond, of New Milford, CT, and Robin Larmore of Gansevoort, NY; several nieces and nephews; and two aunts Elanor Hazard and Marsha Ransom both of Connecticut.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Cannon Funeral Home in Fountain Inn from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Graveside Service will be on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Road, Piedmont, SC 29673. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Christine’s name to the American Cancer Society.
