Lillian Kathlee Bragg Burgess

Lillian Kathlee Bragg Burgess, 84, of Gray Court, gained her angel wings and went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Lillian was born Sunday, September 6, 1936 at home in St. Albans, W.VA to the late Almedia Mae Higginbotham Bragg and Eugene Elvin Bragg.  She was the loving wife to Bobby Ray Burgess Sr.  He preceded her in death June 4, 2003.  She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Annabel Lee Burgess; a son, Bobby Ray Burgess II and a son, John Eugene Burgess Sr.  Surviving are two sons, Adam Burgess and wife Becky, Jeffrey Burgess Sr. and wife Lynne; two daughters, Kathy Burgess, Heather Farris and husband Andrew; fifteen grandchildren, Jeffrey Burgess II, Odell Burgess, Jasmine Moon, J.B. Burgess, Owen Farris, Sara Burgess, Bobby Burgess II, Brandy Tomblin, Robert Campbell, Samantha Hodgess, John Burgess Jr., Ashley Joslin, Andrew Horn Jr., Brenda York, and Chester Horn. And numerous “Adopted” grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Mama, Mom, Nana, Mamaw, to all whom she met. She loved everyone, and everyone fell in love with her as well.  

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday in the chapel at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home in Fountain Inn.  The family will receive friends two hours prior the service.  Entombment will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park.
